Lock in your rate and protect your budget from market volatility. Your rate is guaranteed, giving you predictable monthly bills no matter what happens in the energy market.

Variable Rate — Market Price + 0.70¢/kWh Transaction Fee
Pay the market price plus a small transaction fee of 0.70¢/kWh. The 30-day average variable rate is currently 6.66¢/kWh — well below the regulated Rate of Last Resort. Perfect for cost-conscious consumers who want the lowest possible price.

Flex Plans with Prudential
Our Flex plans offer fixed rates with a prudential deposit that earns you 5% interest annually. The prudential is fully refundable when you leave — it's your money working for you while keeping our rates lower.

All plans include a $9.97/month administration fee. No hidden charges — ever.

How Alberta Electricity Works

In Alberta, you choose your electricity retailer — that's us — but the power itself is delivered by your local distribution company (EPCOR, ENMAX, FortisAlberta, or ATCO Electric). When you switch to Get Energy, there's zero interruption to your service. The same wires, the same power, just a better rate.

Your monthly bill includes two parts: the energy charge (set by your retailer) and delivery charges (set by your distribution company). Get Energy controls the energy charge — and we work hard to keep it as low as possible.
