What's the difference between Discount Advantage and Base rates?
Discount Advantage rates are our lowest fixed rates. They require a one-time, fully refundable prudential deposit (typically $100–$200 for residential). We credit your account monthly with 5% interest on your deposit. When you leave, you get it all back.
Base rates are slightly higher but require no deposit at all. Same great service, same easy switch — just skip the deposit step.

Pay the market price plus a 0.70¢/kWh transaction fee. When wholesale prices are low, you save big. Free to switch to fixed anytime.
