Get Energy was founded in 2014 in the Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo as an Energy Marketer with Utility Network & Partners, Inc. and provides electricity and natural gas services to the Province of Alberta.
Our energy services are available to almost all residential, farm and commercial customers and allows them to realize immediate savings on their monthly utility costs. Every customer is helping give back to the local community as 10% of the annual profits are donated to local charities right here in the RMWB. We are family owned and operated, and our Mission is to ensure that our customers are treated fairly and kept well informed. Although energy is just a commodity, we believe there is more that we can deliver to our customers than just great rates.
At Get Energy, we are committed to giving back to the communities where we live and work.
Whether we partner with an organization to create residual funding or to offer at-cost solutions, we are committed to helping local Social Profits. We are proud to have contributed a one-time donation of time or resources or ongoing funding and support to the following organizations:
About the founders
Get Energy is operated and managed by Malcolm and Jenelle Setter. The company was founded in 2014 initially to reduce expenses in their growing real estate rental business. Once they realized the potential to help every Albertan experience a better utility experience, they shifted their mission to providing superb customer service and energy education for every household and business in Alberta. Currently serving on the Fort McMurray Public School Division, Kings Kids Promotions Outreach Ministries and the Rotary Club of Fort McMurray, they believe in giving back to their community and helping elevate the financial understanding and well-being of all Albertans.
